Add brown sugar; mix well until sugar is melted. Arrange peach slices in a single layer over sugar. Sprinkle almonds over peaches; set aside. In a large bowl, combine egg yolks and sugar. Blend in vanilla and peach juice. Add the flour, baking powder and mix well. In a small bowl, beat egg whites on high speed until stiff peaks form; fold into batter. Spoon into skillet. Bake at 375° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before inverting onto serving plate.
